Lite Beer
You would probably only get a 60 day extension without being the legal Father of the child. If you were to legitimise your relationship you could get 12 months with 400,000 baht in a Thai bank.Or 40,000 Monthly income. How To Gain Parental Rights As A Father http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/381917-how-to-gain-parental-rights-as-a-father/
ubonjoe
Unless you are the legal father of your child by marriage or legitimization you will not be able to to a conversion to a non immigrant visa or a one year extension of stay at immigration. You can get a 60 day extension of stay at immigration to visit your child. You can also get a single entry non-o at a nearby embassy or consulate. ubonjoe
Your child will need to be with you and their mother would also be helpful when you apply for the 60 day extension.
