Service a B-Quik

Featured Replies

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if B-Quik do general servicing? My Mazda BT50 is due a 30,000km's service. Main dealer wants 5,500bht. I need to get it done on a Sunday, but they're closed.

Also, has anyone got any comments about B - Quik, good or bad?

Thanks

Fair techs...like to upsell and use the dab-a-lube tray to demo....every time I've used them they've managed to tweak the exhaust....it's a quick turn around shop....I'm sure a good dealer would be more complete but it's a crap shoot here....they will let you around the veh when they are working on it...English might be a problem....Thai's seem to trust them but they are an easy sell due to limited knowledge and the nice clean organised condition of the shop....

I have found the B-quick services to be of very good quality except for possibly a tendency to try to upsel ( Especially tyres based on years).

If you have the service done there though the dealer can most likely invalidate your warrantee.

They have a point check which they do thougroughly as it gives them more upsell oportunities and this is a good condition report.

All told though during the guarantee period you have to stick with the dealer here.

I went to the one at Big C Sukhumvit Rd Pattaya. They put a halfwit spanner twirler on my pick-up who didn't put the oil filter on right, he fills it up with oil and drives down to reception with oil p1ssing out underneath. Do'h! If they can't get the simple stuff right, how can you trust them with the important stuff.

Thanks for the comments. My wife is Thai, so communication shouldn't be a problem. I was told by Mazda that the truck is out of the 'Free Labour' period, even though I was led to believe that the 'Free Labour' promotion was good up to 100,000km's. It's two years old.

So is the truck out of warranty?

if yes. No problem servicing if out of warranty.

Actually I do not think it is out of warrantee, Just ran out of the free services which are not necescarily free. Getting the service done at the dealer is essential if there is still warantee remainingl
