Flying back in - 90-day reporting date resets, right ?

Featured Replies

Sorry, UJ and others, I remain a little confused by this so I'll just lay it out and see how it goes.

- did my 90-day report a couple of months back and was due to go back to Jomtien on Dec 16

- got multi re-entry permit, flew to Japan and back and had my passport stamped correctly when he found the re-entry permit:

stamp is dated 18 Nov 2014 and 'Admitted Until' is 30 Sep 2015, as it should be.

I thought the purpose of the 90-day report was to confirm that you are still at the same address, and I did have the same address on my Arrivals card - just wanted to clarify whether I still do my 90-day on Dec 16 or 90 days from 18 Nov - by my calculation somewhere in mid Feb 2015 ? Technically I wont have 'resided in Thailand' for the full 90 days on Dec 16 given my time out of the country, but I dont want to get fined for failing to report.

Thanks in advance.

90 days from Nov 18. Nov 18 is day 1.
