Mario2008
Normally not. (It can be asked for at some borders if they see you have a lot of visa exempt entries and tourist visas and are suspected that you are working in Thailand).
BuckBee
Best be prepared for the possibility, friend of mine (has apartment same condo) has production plants in Taiwan & stops in Thailand for leisure breaks before trips back to Europe. He been using tourist visas as things with exempt entries bit unpredictable. only had 2 tourist visas & quite some break between the use of them in last 8 months but was picked out for questioning at Suvarnabhumi when coming in. He had no major cash, only about 3,000Bt from previous trips. He uses Visa debit card or has his PA organise moneygrams. He was able satisfy immigration though but does show it worth being prepared as things are not predictable any more.
