So, Ive got my old dear in the UK sending me over yorkshire puddings, stuffing mix, christmas cracker hats, mince pies and christmas pudding, on the basis we have a skype video call and celebrate together .. bless her... so now all I need is a christmas tree and a turkey of course then Im set, any of you guys know where to get christmas tree's?

ps and your yorkshires is only flour, eggs , milk and a little salt, but i had to bring pudding cooking dishes over here with me, but you could cook a large one in a dish in the oven,like a taod in the hole with out the sausage

I can't influence those outside my sphere ... but I can embrace all those within it.

A few years ago, I volunteered at a 'Soup Kitchen' on the Coast.

The mouths had to be fed ... they didn't care if it was Christmas or May Day.

Me, standing behind that ladle, gave the regular volunteer, who gave up his/her time freely throughout the year, time to spend with Family.

It was a rewarding experience ... I recommend to all, that sometimes we think of those who have less then we do.

It's Xmas time again, the time when relatively intelligent people seem to lose their minds and do really stupid things.

There will be violence in the streets, drunken rage and serious assaults, there will be epidemic substance abuse, rapes and murders. Record number of men women and children will be wiped out by drunk and speeding drivers and it's a time where both lonely people and people who've recently lost a relative or loved one will shed rivers of tears. Suicides will sky rocket. Idiocy everywhere, right across the planet.

My thoughts and prayers rest with emergency service personnel world wide, these are the guys and girls that get to cut down the people that suicide by necking themselves, they get to pick up the heads off the roadway and recover the charred remains of other accident victims from wrecked cars. They get to load brain dead teenage boys into meat wagons after they've been bashed in the streets or help little 19 yo princess down to the hospital after she's had a bit too much to drink and half a dozen local assssholes have been thru her.

It's a dead set xxxxxxx of a time in more ways than one. Certainly nothing to celebrate.

I won't post another comment on her about this crap time because I'm probably wasting my time saying anything, then again if just one person read my words and took heed, then it was well worth the effort.
