Left Bangkok 2 days ago for South America, got a contract there, short term. I live in Thailand and I really felt gutted to leave this time. Anyway my wife will fly over in 3 weeks for her birthday and XMAS but I just wanted to say to you all..love what you have in Thailand because I think we under estimate it's worth.

I can't wait to get back to my home and my family in Thailand.

And merry XMAS to you all.

Best way to appreciate Thailand is to leave for awhile, then all the moaning and groaning evaporates and you cant wait to get back.

Thanks lads ..thought I was finished with working overseas but it's only short term. It just reminded me that what I really love I already have....wifey is pissed off as she earns more than enough to keep us without this grief. I only took the job to feel like I was doing my bit to support us..now I think it was probably dumb and not needed. Looking forward to getting back as soon as I can, but at least my wife will come over for a few weeks to maintain my sanity.
