Free range chicken and eggs

Can anyone advise me on where to buy free range chicken/eggs in Chiang Mai or Mae Rim?

I would be grateful for any information on this. Thank you.

Just in case the original poster is still looking for free range meats or eggs Paleo Robbie now delivers to Chiang Mai. I use them quite a lot.

 

Free range eggs can be bought at Rimping. Sloan's sausages that are sold at Rimping are purportedly using Thai free range pork. Tops sells free range pork but unfortunately not in CM - ask for their Natural Pork range which is raised in Thailand and fed herbs - we were able to get some sent to the CM branch of Tops from BKK.

You can buy 'Gai Baan' in the market which are a local skinny breed of chicken that you see around everywhere out on the streets etc. unfortunately there is not much meat on them.

Never seen Sloan's sausages at RimPing,are they frozen or fresh ,and where are they located?

Free on the range means essentially little food available to eat, unless tossed out by humans.  Maybe the skinny chicks offer tastier meat, but less of it.

In Maya they are behind the eggs in the frozen meat section, they are frozen. They are 360B for 6, so they are pretty pricey but very delicious.
