Best mobile package for me.

Featured Replies

Less than 2 weeks before I'm in Thailand, time to think about which option is best for me. I have an unlocked iPhone 6 and at the moment I'm with Giffgaff, £10pm, 500 minutes, 1GB data and unlimited texts. I know I wont get anywhere near that deal in LOS but I need something to last me 23 days. I don't mind say 300 minutes and 500 texts and at least 500mb of data. Any suggestions?

I ended up getting a dtac smartphone monthly 399bt deal. When I got close to the end of my 150 free minutes I put some credit on 'Line' and used that for calls, its cheaper than dtac, even calls to the UK were cheap and good quality. I even got 4G when I was in Pattaya.

On a side note, I did a lot of driving, BKK to Lampang, then down to Surin, then Pattaya, and finally back to BKK, plus associated running about. I found the 3G coverage to be far superior to the UK, in the UK once you get out of the towns and cities 3G is very spotty, mostly GPRS or E, in Thailand I found it to be the other way round.
