any experience with life insurance co in Thailand paying out to a foreigner?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have experience with a life insurance company in Thailand paying out to a foreigner when the insured person dies?

I know it seems like that if you are a foreigner here in Thailand that in some cases you have no rights so I am wondering if this is the case with life insurance. For instance if a foreigner had life insurance from a Thai company and they died could their foreign family members be the person designated to receive the payout from the Thai insurance company or could it be that the insurance company would be like well the benefactor is a foreigner so we are not going to pay out, unless they take us to court, which will probably take a lot of money and years.

Anyone have any experience?

Of course they pay out.
