Just leaving HKT to BKK for a meeting , stopped to buy the local papers and I notice the Gazette have reduced their price to 20thb a copy instead of the 25thb before.

Pressure from what ( and no longer is ) the new kid on the block perhaps ?

The Russian advertisers are obviously not contributing enough to cover the in-depth journalism costs.

4 hour booze soaked lunches, free advertising to property developers, rote and unquestioning repetition of anything said by anybody in a uniform and taking photographs of traffic accidents clearly isn't cheap!
