I turn to Thai visa in desperation and as a last resort to end my sockless state. The problem being Im a USA size 14 and generally have success in the 11-14 size bracket . However I have now officially visited every dept store in bangkok from MBK to Emporium and they are all exclusively "free size" socks which basically means a mens and I need XL

Im looking for low cut sports socks but in desperation have even considered 400bht silk socks but seriously who buys them at that price?

I even ordered from Ali Express what I was assured to be Vely big size only to receive a size mens...again

So where do the big guys here buy there socks from?

Have you tried Marks and Spencers.... they have a range of good quality mens socks. Not sure how big they go to however. Not cheap I admit but decent quality

If you find any socks in BKK (any size) that:

1) don't cut off your circulation and leave a big crease in your leg the end of the day

2) don't fall down over your shoes the 2nd time you wear them

3) hold up over at least 3 (preferably more) machine washings

4) their dye doesn't run and leave you with a psychedelic pattern on the 2nd wearing

5) don't cost more than the Thai minimum wage for a day
