Last week’s cyber attack on Sony Pictures Entertainment reveals the company’s rather flimsy approach to internet security.

After Sony announced it had recently been the victim of a cyber attack which saw unreleased movies and trailers, as well as confidential information of more than 40,000 employees leaked to the public, further details have emerged of the incident in what some are calling the most embarrassing corporate cyber attack of all time.

This happens all the time, We only hear about a small part of it. Yet everyone keeps pushing for cloud computing and having everything connected and online. Keep going like this and you will lose all privacy and freedoms.

I dont usually get enjoyment out of other peoples misfortune but i was verry happy reading this story. Having purchased a PS4 last year and experiencing problems with online purchases and Sony cheating me out of $200 i feel they deserved some bad karma. Suffer.

I can just hear my brilliant teenage nephew now:

What do you expect them to name the folder where they keep the passwords? duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

As I said, brilliant, he gets it from his mother's father's side of the gene pool.
