I have miss readied my renew date of my visa. They attached my 90 day renew date in my visa as 22nd December and when I check my visa stamp I find the date on my visa stamp is October 28th so I guess I am over due with renewing my visa. Keep looking at my 90 days renew date as my visa renew date.

Am also about to apply for married extension as I am want to use the 400 Baht in Bank account. Have all paper work done for this extension.

Will go to immigration tomorrow to see what happens.

Has anyone had this happen to them? And what happen. Is there a fine for this?

Any help would be welcome.

Regards

Ray

Looks like you have overstayed around 49 days.

The fine is 500 Baht a day with a limit of 20,000 Baht.

They might not let you extend based on Marriage.

You might have to leave the country and get a Non Imm O Visa.

I think it may be a waste of time going to immigration being this late for applying for your extension of stay (it is not a visa).

It may be best to go out for a new non-o visa and start all over again. Just pay your overstay fine of 20k baht on the way out of the country.

Yes, going to the airport too is safer if you are in Bangkok. There is no gurarantee they will give an extension to leave the country so then you would be in a lot more trouble. Buy a cheap ticket out and then leave, (Not Singapore the embassy there gives problems with visas.)

One on my troubles is I can not walk far. Have a bad back / Spine Need a wheel chair to go long distant s and need a helper To do things.

Am married and my wife is my helper here. Can not travel alone if I have to leave.

Would it be better just to stay here as long as I can with out of date visa.

I would not advise you staying without a visa. Overstaying can have significant consequences if caught.

Plus there are still overstay rules pending approval that could result in a one year ban if you go over 90 days.

Perhaps a overland trip for the visa with your wife would be best.

Fortunately the airlines must cater for wheelchair passengers and must provide assistance from the door of the airport in to the door out. If you can afford it it is one case where you would be better off flying THAI (or a major airline) as they have more staff to look after you and better conditions. You will probably need a special form from a government doctor allowing you to fly or stating the conditions you can which will need to be given to the airline at least 3 days in advance (You do not need this with going direct to the US as special rules apply).

I disagree that an overland trip is best.

PleasePM me if you need other details about travelling with a wheelchair. If your wife is Thai she should go with you to say Penang as she does not need a visa for there and you do not if you come from most countries.

Yes, harrry is right about this. You should book your trip with a major airline with your wife as a helper. Go to the office of the major airline to book the trip -- THAI is best. Don't use a travel agent. If you need help in dealing with a Thai embassy in a foreign country to apply for a new visa, then plan for your wife to travel with you. Be sure the airline understands you need wheelchair service. Since you're in a wheelchair, you and your wife will receive priority treatment in the queues at the airport. The airline will provide someone to push the wheelchair for you at the airport and that person will know where to go to clear immigration and pay your fine.
