Replacement TM6 card

Featured Replies

I recently had my stamps transferred to a new passport as my old one was lost. However they didn't issue me with a new TM6 card. I'm concerned this may cause me a problem at the airport and, to be on the safe side, I want to get a replacement at immigration. I have been told that immigration will issue me one by looking up my passport number, which forgive me for sounding cynical sounds a bit to easy. Would it not be stored against my old passport? I don't really want to leave anything to chance even if I can get one from the airport so I wanted to visit immigration tomorrow to sort it out. Please can someone advise urgently.

Previous reports and comments by the Visa mods have indicated it is straight forward and believe even a desk at CW for it.

Previous reports and comments haven't fully answered my question hence a further post to anyone else wanting to answer.

It seems Ubonjoe and Mario did answer it in your lost passport topic - http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/777685-lost-passport-visa-and-extension-of-stay/page-2

No problem with a topic specific to the TM6 issue though and will wait for clarification from them.

Yep, listen I really appreciate their answers but I'm going on a trip to the UK (holiday) I've planned to the UK and just want everything sorted so I can just simply check in at the airport

I just did a post in your other topic. You should read it.

You are getting excited over nothing. You can just go to airport like you would of done without the TM6 if I had not mentioned it in a post on the other topic.

The certainly will not deny your departure from the country because of a lost TM6 card. I would guess there are probably dozens of people that show up the airport everyday without a TM6.

Hi just to make anyone else aware who might search for this topic. Yes, losing your TM6 card isn't a problem. They will issue you with a new one. Just fill out both arrival and departure (if leaving). Passport control did spend more time looking over my passport than most, but in the end I was waved through. Thanks very much to everyone who helped me with this, I'm sitting a hotel room in England with a cup of tea. Happy Holidays.
