A 10 minute nightmare ??? !!!

Maybe find a reputable shop, or get a shop manual.

10 minutes? cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

Getting back to the OP and purchasing second hand bikes.

My point was. If you are buying a used PCX, the valves most likely have not been checked due to the nightmare of removing all that bodywork.

From the PCX Forum.

"I recommend servicing your pcx yourself. with patience, (2 hours just removing the plastics), careful with the plastics. Lots of breakable tabs so take your time. some of the evap tubing is thin is my opinion so careful removing them to get to the head. on removing the plastic, there are a crapload of steps. its like the ankle bone is connected to the shin bone, the shin bone is connected to the knee bone the knee bone is.... you get the picture. they're all connected to each other."
"Hi all.

I have just carried out a valve check.

Firstly if you can afford to get this done by a workshop I would recommend you do as removing and replacing the plastics is a bit of a nightmare."

Here is a step by step instruction getting to the PCX valve cover.

That's what it takes me.

Believe Youtube videos ? Who made them ? Any bike experience ?

Youtube = Boobtube if you have to rely on a video to work on your bike, no wonder it takes 2 hours
