More empty words and hollow promises from an illegitimate government.

There are many ways to root out corruption but transferring them to inactive posts will never produce results. I wonder how many can actually say they've never taken payment for a so-called service? Army, RTP and Politicians ... spot the difference ... there is none.

How can a man, in this case the General, stand there and call for reform when he himself committed a criminal act; namely treason?

That would depend on your definition of treason. As (AFAIK) the loyalty oath is to King and country, defending them against enemies foreign and domestic, rather than to some temporary office holders, the General has carried out his duties remarkably well.

When a government creates a private militia, tries to instigate a cult of personality to a corrupt criminal, and supports calls for civil war and division of the country, all the while enriching themselves at the country's expense, they have little claim to loyalty from the country's defenders.

The "country's defenders" - would that be the likes of suffinator? ;-)
