Hello

I have Internet with 3 BB. First, I used their modem, and later I bought a modem wi fi TP link ; during 3 years it worked very well, but now, the wlan light works 3 minutes , I have Internet normally, then it flahes and the connection Internet is stopped , all the other lights are on; I have tried many times, always the same thing happens : wlan light flashes and no connection any more

first, I thought it comes from 3 BB, and I installed my first 3 BB modem, and Internet is fine, so it means that the problem comes from the TP link modem ( TD-w8961ND )

have you an idea of what happens ? thank you wai.gif

While you can try resetting and reconfiguring the TD-W8961ND first, you may find that the device just needs to be replaced.

Many of the consumer units are subject to high heat due to low-cost design and the components fail over time.

Replace it ? you have a good one to suggest ? because 3 years for a modem, it's not long !

Return it to TP, they will replace it if it's faulty.

TP-LINK give a life time guarantee.

Take it back for them to check and if it is faulty they will replace it.

Yes. Unlike some manufacturers, TPLink do actually honour their warranty, even in Thailand.

When I was having a similar problem, a friend who knows about these things came over and changed the channel it was using and all was better. (Xyxel Router on TRUE)
