Bluespunk Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Notice that the Thai newspaper pointed out that it was not just a park visitor or customer, but a "foreign tourist." So what if they did? If it's the truth why not report it or are you saying it is racist to do so? Seems we have another farang with a chip on his shoulder Not the only one. 2
HUAHIN62 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Headline should read 'Thainess thrashed by elephant'. Unfortunately for you it was a foreigner driving the vehicle - as reported by TV news. 1

robblok Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 More people die each year from elephant attack than any other species, approx 500 people world wide per year.... Next time get your facts straight.. hippos kill far more people. (other animals even more) http://www.viralnova.com/animals-that-kill-humans/ 1
IMA_FARANG Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Hippos are dangerous. Mainly because they like to feed away from the water hole at night, and then head back to the water to spend the day there. That means they often make contact with humans on the trails to the water hole in the morning when they are testy and only really want to get back to the water for a nice day long soak there. As far as the hippos are concerned it's the pesky humans that in their way.
ToddinChonburi Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Everybody who visits the national park is a tourist. what the HELL !!!!!

TooPoopedToPop Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Som num na Som nahm nah has been said several times on this thread already. Maybe you mean "Som numb nuts" ?
TooPoopedToPop Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Notice that the Thai newspaper pointed out that it was not just a park visitor or customer, but a "foreign tourist." i bet i can guess where from Are you guessing Chinese? I doubt it... not that many Chinese tourists driving pickup trucks here. More likely a farang jai-rawn. Chinese tourists, as obnoxious as they can be, are not as likely to be so brainless as to blow their horn at an elephant... any more than a Thai would. This howler sounds like something a farang would do.
Robby nz Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 More people die each year from elephant attack than any other species, approx 500 people world wide per year.... Mosquito's kill 1 million, tsetse files kill 400,000, snakes kill 50,000, scorpions kill 5000, hippos kill 3000, crocodiles kill 2000. Does it say how many pick-up trucks the mossies stomp each year ? 2
mikemac Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Note to self - Don't honk horn at elephants. (unless I am driving a car that belongs to someone I don't like) 2
