Abhisit is making some very sensible statements here IMO regardless of the politics.

  • Except for his statement about taxi prices. Taxi prices hadn't changed in an eternity, which is why they were raised, which had nothing to do with the prices of fuel.

  • Here we go again with the usual 'hidden masters' conspiracy BS.

The junta was out of touch with reality when they took government by force and many doubted then that they had the capability to run the country and it is being proven.

Anyway fancy Abhisit a yellow dem talking about helping poor farmers.

The yellow dems have been out of touch with the people since time began and that's why they are never elected.

One of the reasons Abhisit is so despised by many non yellows is that he is all mouth and no action. If you've ever listened to him he sounds great. A terrific speaker. Calm, assured and intelligent. Oxbridge educated. Cosmopolitan. Diplomatic. Talks of making Thailand a fairer nation for the poor. The works. Once heard him speaking about LM laws. He even had me convinced, until I realised a few days later he was being pretty 'economical' with his facts (relating to other nations' laws).

Problem is he does not do what he says. He's a very sly old fox. Face of a cherub and the heart of a brute. He's actually quite a brutal and elitist little politician. He cannot and will not win an election fairly in Thailand because Thailand's 'uneducate' (sic) people can see right through him and have done for years.

"Brutal and elitist politician" - citation needed.

What does the official PTP (not you) have to say about it.

They didn't want to play, don't put anything forward as discussion points and are "waiting for Thaksin" to tell them what to do.

And this is the party you think will win the next election. It is a one man show. Remember the PTP election slogan, "Thaksin thinks, Puea Thai does".

If Thanksin is out of the equation along with his money how do you thing the PTP will do then?

Apart from criticising the Democrats what do YOU think the governemnt should do as an energy policy.

YOU come up with suggestions intsead of carping all the time and being negative.

At this moment in time, petrol is almost free in Thailand.

What is this post about?

petrol in thailand is about double the price it is in the USA.
