if I want to buy a large amount of Postcards and printed Greeting Cards (from a company in Vietnam).

Does Thai Customs charge any duty or tax on these items?

What I am really asking is if there is any free-trade agreement with Vietnam ?

I read a few pages online which say the ASEAN countries have some sort of 0.5% rate or something... but really I am just confused by the legal jargon.

What I understand is that you have to have a proper business in Thailand to be applicable for these low ASEAN import duties.

I want to import used household goods from Malaysia to Thailand but have been told that I have to pay full import duties because it's a private person importing.
