Soldering Supplies

Featured Replies

I know these things must be available in Thailand as I have seen some repair shops using some of them. But I haven't been able to locate them at Thai Wasadu, HomePro, Amorn, and Westech Component. Anyone know where I can get these without ordering from Amazon?

I can buy both at the local electrical supply shop and I'm in the sticks. They also repiar TVs and stock it for their own shop. Try a TV repair shop, they might sell it to you direct. I bought a good glass cutter from a glass shop as the ones avable in the stores were crap!

Ya, I was going to ask one of the sellers at Pantip, but another member gave me another website that looks like it will have what I want.

Suspect Ebay would be a viable alternative - never used Amazon here as most items do not seem designed for overseas shipment.
Have never searched for any such equipment but the Banmoh area in Chinatown is known for electronic supplies (and diamonds).

Well I would just as soon shoot myself in the foot then go to China Town again. An over the top example of Thai goofiness. Thanks for trying though.

In Chiangmai I buy it at Amorn. Solder removing wire is the same but the flux comes in plastic containers. Been a year since I last bought some.
