Shocking Difference Between Thai and Farang Toddlers

It seems most of the postings are made by the poster's experience.

May I add some of my own experiences with Thai and farang kids to disturb the generalising.

  • My German nice has twins (boys). One is highly intelligent like his father, now in high school. The other one not, now in a middle school, but more controled by his emotions. The same treatment by their parents, the same environment, the same not stupid parents and the same teachers (before).

Are they different because of the education in their early years? Are they differnt because of different gens? Their older sister is also #1 in her high school class

  • In former years when I used Thai Airwas it was surpringsly evident for me that nearly all crying babies and children have been farang babies - with only a few exceptions - whereas the Thai children slept quietly. A result of education cool.png or emotion or even culture?

  • When I compare the grandchildren (2 girls) of my wife with some German children

    • the German children are shy to sing, dance and chat, the grandchildren not at all.

    • the Thai children don't cry for every sh@t

    • most of the German children don't support their parents for housework unless they are told to do. The oldest Thai grandchild opens here eyes to support grandmother, the other one not.

    • The German children mostly do what their parents tell them. The parents explain more the why and wherefore. The Thai parents don't.

    • The Greman children are able to use a computer (including mobiles), the Thai grandchildren only the mobile.

    • The German children don't need a calculator for basic math.

Isn't there a mixture of education, environment, gens, culture and MONEY what influences the children?
