Good Burmese restaurant in Bangkok?

Featured Replies

I'd like to take the Burmese women who work at my guesthouse out for a good Burmese meal. Anyone know of any good Burmese restaurants?

Having spent time in Myanmar, whilst it is a beautiful place, local food wasn't fondly remembered at all. It will be a tough search.

There's a couple of small Burmese/Indian restaurants on Suk 71 - one between Soi 2&4 and one opposite. Normally a few Burmese in there when I have been.

Found some photos.

I was in Yangon and Bago. I ate a lot of dishes not similar to food ive eaten outside Myanmar. But I dont know if it is the food the locals eat or not. Some very unusual dishes compared to what ive had anywhere else. Would like to try some authentic burmese food if someone knows a restaurant in central Bangkok.
