Tourist visa

Featured Replies

tourist visas expire January 31, I made a visa extension already chonburi immigration was made January 5 .... would like to stay a little longer in the country, what options are recommending view it is talking about being one week or two longer?

one visa run is an opportunity or is it possible to get an extra extension?

thank for help. Magnus

No extension is possible other than a application for 7 day extension that gives you 7 days to leave.

You could make a border run to Cambodia to get a visa exempt entry if you are from a county that qualifies for it that would give you 15 days or 30 days if your from a G7 country.

You seem to be confusing your visa expiration and expiration of permission to stay (not an extension of the visa). If you got an extension of stay on 5 January, look at the hand stamp placed in your passport for the "must leave by" date. It should be at least 3rd February ( if i counted correctly) depending on when your 60 day permission ended. If you got the extension before the 60 day permission expired, it would be even later than 3 February.

Your stay depends on the extension stamp. Doesn't matter if the visa expires (date printed on the visa sticker) as long as your permission to stay is still valid.
