Help - Using my DTAC Sim card in England Please

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I'm in a bit of a bind here which I'll explain;

  • I'm currently in England
  • Need to transfer some money into my kids Bangkok Bank account from my own Bangkok Bank account
  • Bangkok Bank want to send a password (one time password) via SMS to my Thai DTAC number to verify
  • My DTAC SIM is not picking up any service in England so I can't proceed

So basically I need to somehow get my Thai DTAC SIM to be able to receive a message from Bangkok Bank else I can't do the transfer, facepalm.gif

I'm getting a bit stressed as he needs this money for a school trip sad.png

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot for any advice here guys

You need to contact Dtac to tell them to turn on International roaming.... I had the same problem with AIS a few years back, extremely annoying....

Hey Richard,

Thanks for your reply, you are right that is what I need to do and it is very annoying facepalm.gif

Wish i'd have thought about this while I was in DTAC just two days ago paying my bill sad.png

I'll try and get onto them now..

Cheers again!
