90 day reporting question

Recommended Posts

Just had my latest 90 day extension done taking me up to 1st May as stamped on the slip.

On the 1st May we will be flying out (just before midnight schedule) to Japan. I am not entirely sure if there will be a need to do a further report before this flight such as on or before 30th April but can you experts and others confirm this or not. Bear in mind that the 1st May is a public holiday so Immigration will be closed anyway,

I have read previously that the extra 7 days granted after the stamp date don't count when departing the country but this may be wrong.

Thanks.

The report of staying longer than 90 days in the country is not an extension.

Since you will be leaving on the 90th day you will not need to do a report.

The 7 day after report date is only for doing the report. Leaving the country after the report date is not doing a report so there is no 7 day allowance.

If on a yearly extension do you have a re-entry permit to keep your ''permission to stay stamp'' alive.

90 day address reports are required every 90 days you remain in Thailand, if you leave and return the clock starts again, day 1 is the day of arrival
