Did you go and register it with itunes after you purchased it?That is the 1st thing you need to do.Then you sinc it with your Apple

Account.I'm not sure of any other way you would do this.Plus it asks for you 4 digit security code to open it.Um I'm not sure

Where you would use password except itunes.

Hi thrilled

Example

Facebook (though I hate it I use it)

Yogaglo

Yogisanonymous

There are loads.

I think nothing to do with iTunes....just normal user and password request.

There s probably one for Thaivisa though I use the app.

The OP is discussing Safari (web browser) ability to store and automatically supply website user/pass

But, yes, the iCloud Keychain can be synced using iTunes/iCloud

Cheeryble, do any sites that you need a name/pass in Safari remember you, or do they all wish not to know you?

Some things to check:

1. Settings > Safari > Passwords & Autofill > Names & Passwords 'On'

When visiting sites the require a login, the keyboard should come up with "Autofill password" option just over the QW keys

2. If it still doesn't want to auto-populate, look for duplicate entries in the password keychain:
Settings > Safari > Passwords & Autofill > Saved Passwords
Click Edit, then check the user/password pair(s), then click Delete.
3. You may need to delete the problematic user/password and revisit the site and store it again new.
4. Support.apple.com Get help using iCloud Keychain

Did you just update iTunes? There are issues with recognition apparently. I only have an iPhone because my wife wanted her Samsung back, I much prefer Android and miss not having to wait for ages to get into that joyless place.

Hi Richcor

i THINK it's all sites.

I just went to Thaivisa via Safari and logged in.

Remember me was filled in.

I closed the tab then tried again..

It DIDN'T remember me,

I checked the Settings were "on" for passwords yesterday.

BREAKTHROUGH!

You taught me something there about Autofill Password above QW.

And it works.

So I guess you'd call it not automatic but semi-automatic haha.

Thanks for that let me try it with other sites later bit late.
