On my apple macbook pro laptop the google page displays Google Turkey. How do I change this to the LOS?

At work they have the new standard Microsoft work stations. When I log onto the works wifi via the LAN I search for google translate English into Thai (bc this helps the students). When I click on the drop down list the 'From' list is all in Thai language. Where do I change this in the settings?

I assume the same answer to both questions will resolve the issues?

I hope you mean, "when I log onto the LAN via my work's WiFi." Otherwise, it's just confusing.

Anywho, language / location preference settings are read from many variables. URL used, ISP IP geo-location, WiFi recorded geo-location, browser settings, and set browser cookies, or taken from the Operating System presets.

The Internet Browser:

The browser Home Page, or a specific browser Bookmark can be set to a specific URL (as referenced by IMHO). To change/edit these entries, look for the browser's 'MENU' or '' ≡ " button and look for a "Settings" entry called on start up or home page. Likewise, you can try editing bookmark to make it country or language specific, by editing the TLD (.com, .co.th, .co,uk, etc), or other specifier (ie: /en/ or ?hl=en) if that option is even available.

Google TH Google US Google AU URL TLD edited to request country

Google page setting are in Thai:

Your 'browser' language may be preset to 'Thai", or a browser cookie setting may have 'Thai' set as a preference.

Suggest you look at this Google help page: Adjust fonts, languages, and encodings

If you're using the Google Translate webpage, then you'll need to set your language on the google home page from Thai to English before entering the google translate page.

OR, OR, OR, You can also try EDITING A BOOKMARK to one of these URLs:

https://translate.google.co.th/?hl=en&sl=th&tl=en

https://translate.google.co.th/?hl=en&sl=en&tl=th
Where:
hl is about the language, the Google Translate webpage itself will be rendered in
sl is about the source language for the translation.
tl is about the termination language. (i.e. the output/destination of the translation)
In the above example the URL means: Display the page in English (Default English is American), and assume translation from Thai to English (or English to Thai) as the default selected for this request.
So every time you click the edited bookmark, the page will be rendered with these pre-set elements.
