I broke Sharp microwave glass plate Model R219

Featured Replies

Where can I get a glass plate for my 7 year old Sharp microwave? The model is R219 which is no longer on the Sharp website. Any small microwave glass plate will do.

Maybe any small glass plate will not do, as it has to have

the same connection on the bottom that fits into the

mechanism in the microwave that turns the plate.

thank you. You have opened my eyes to all kinds of possibilities. I tried a celedon luncheon sized plate and it works perfectly well although it is a bit small. I'd rather pay for a celedon dinner plate than a new microwave plate here so I'm off to Raming tea shop. Tae Pae gate road. I'll park in the wat then trot across the street and back a block to Raming. I'll have tea and something yummy, then buy my plate. The idea of getting a replacement part here was a bit nuts. I can get one in California and bring it here in my luggage but my next items for transporting in my suitcases in August of this year are two medicine balls and some heavy items for my cross cable machine. The Sharp microwave plate has to wait until 2016. Meanwhile I'll have a celedon dinner plate. That's cool.

Best,

Suzanne
