There are ads now that change the line breaks to make the text field narrower, but never has an ad blocked text for me. I don't find it any problem.

I am finding this new ad format very unpleasant. Not going as far as the OP's reaction but it does definitely degrade the user experience in a non-trivial way.

The ads were left justified which really was unpleasant. That seems to have been changed back to right justified.

Lots more ads has made it a bit less readable, but I accept it is for free.
