I am in my 50's..

I can clearly remember sitting on the floor at my Grandmas house watching Neil Armstrong take his first steps on the moon. I was 5.

I remember my Mum bathing me, I was maybe 3.

I can easily remember the song "Please release me" playing on the radio as a kid, and "The Seekers".

I can vaguely remember the last time I wet my pants, last monday..

How about you?

My first memory us looking up from my crib at nursery school and being "in love" with the worker.

I also remember watching the Kennedy and Nixon debate on TV and wanting the "handsome" guy to win.

Folks relocated from MA to CA....when I was 2....I had a basket full of stuffed toys to carry - they had to be checked and I remember a tug o war with them because I wouldn't let go....before that I remember the hill behind our house that overlooked the bay or ocean & the poison sumac I caught there....remember my cousins playing marbles and the coal truck delivering.....an Aunt tried to tie me up to a tree but I escaped.....threw her mop out the 2nd story window and they couldn't find it because it was buried in snow the next morning.....come to think of it maybe the relatives ponied up the money to send us to CA.... also opened the right back door of a car and they caught me falling out.....I must have been a delightful child before growing into the charming handsome & humble individual I am today.....(laughing) small family - was 58 years until I saw my cousins again.....we were all retired except one....guess they figured maybe I'd matured by then.....still workin' on it.......

Walking through a market in Nigeria in 1959 or 60 at the age of 4 or 5 with the vivid and brightly coloured clothes of the African lady vendors as they called out loudly advertising their wares.Their enormous ,pendulous breasts almost brushed my face as I stumbled along through the haze and exotic smells.

Thankfully I never recovered.

I was 4. Having my tonsils out.

Being asked my my Mum what Ice-Cream I liked. Mint Choc Chip.

She worried that the chunky bits may hurt my throat, but bought it for me anyway.

It did ... but I was apparently a penchant child. Now a perfect adult, of course.

I was 'in love' with the girl next door, well, the next crib anyway.

Her name was Peta.

I remember watching F Troop when i was 4. I also remember trying to put a hole in the top of a milo tin using a garden fork. I had captured a blue tongue Lizard and needed holes in the tin so it could breath. I ended up making a hole in my foot.

I always went for the women that I did not stand a chance with. I'm guessing the woman working in the nursery school was in her late 20s.
