Hello there ...hope to get some helpfull information about my Visa-Problem .

I arrived in Kingdom of Thailand middle of January with a 60 days tourist visa . I resolved to stay in Thailand , like I did before from 2007 till 2011. In these days with R-visa. Today am in the age of 60. I had somebody who help me with my Visa in the past. Today I was told I have to go to BKK for Non-O visa reply . Unfortunately, I was also told from some friends that some falangs are not getting a Non –O visa to stay in Thailand . it was rejected without justification. So is there anything I can do if I get a rejection as well ??

I know I can apply for another 30 days but than ? is the last possibility a visa run to Cambodia for example or what do I have to do or what can I do ?...and if I have to go to Cambodia do I get a new Tourist Visa again ?

would be very kind to get some information about the last stand …and also I was told from somebody who should know, that the Visa Apply in BKK is going to stop soon .

Any news from ur side Ladys and Gentlemen ?

I hope I made not to many mistakes coz am from Germany ..many thx for reading and also for information and help ...!!

What is you objective? Have you deposited Bt 800k in a Thai bank? If you did there is no reason the conversion (cost Bt 2,000

0) will be rejected. They will do the 30 days extension before, cost Bt 1,900.

You can apply for a change of visa status from a tourist visa entry to a 90 day non immigrant visa entry based upon qualifying for an extension of stay for retirement. You would need 800k baht in a Thai bank or proof of 65k baht income or a combination of the 2 totaling 800k baht.

...yes and here we have the problem ...not all falang are having that income (retiered) or that mutch on the bankacount ....if I had these financial basics I would not post here, then it would be all very simple. Thank You!

If you cannot meet the financial requirements for an "O" visa and subsequent extensions of stay the only option open to you is the use of tourist visas.

Using tourist visas will eventually prove difficult if you are seeking a long term solution to staying in Thailand

ok , i understand Sir ...so after my aplly for another 30 days do i have to make a ,,visarun,, for a new tourist visa ? is that possible and that`s the only way for me for staying in thailand ?..coz i realy dont like to stay illegaly in this country

I posted the requirements to get a visa at immigration. To get a non-o visa for being 50 or over for retirement at an embassy or consulate within the region will have the same requirements. Even getting a non-o visa in your home country without financial proof is not very likely unless their is a friendly honorary consulate.

You can get a 2 entry tourist visa in Laos. Cambodia only does single entry visas.

A 3 entry tourist visa is possible in Bali but you need tickets out of the country for each entry up to 90 days apart.

...i realy dont know what to do and everything makes me realy scared to be honest .

so my last chance id to go to laos and reply for another 2 entry tourist visa. for how long is this one ok ? 90 days or longer ?

to go to bali every 90 days is my acount to ,,smal,, .

i also was told that some lawers are going to help with visproblem .. but the point is i dont know any lawer in thailand and also in this situation is maybe only a smal chance ?...if there is any chance at all ?...

A 2 entry tourist visa will give you two 60 day entries that you can extend for 30 days. At the end of the 90 days from the entry and extension you can do a border run to leave and re-enter to use the 2nd entry. You would have to be sure you do the 2nd entry before the enter before date on the visa.

A 3 entry visa from Bali would be the same. The only difference would be that you would get three 60 day entries.

In Germany you could get a multiple entry non-o visa that would give you unlimited 90 day entries for a year from one of the honorary consulates.

There are some lawyers and visa agents that offer to get you an visa and extension based upon retirement by supplying the 800k baht to get it. They charge from 20k baht to 50k baht to do it.
