New family visum

Featured Replies

I have a family visum. This visum is valid till 13/6/2015. Also my multi re-entry stamp is valid till 13/6/2015

I May I have to ask a new family visum for one year. Then I have to wait one month before I will receive it.

BUT, I am in Belgium from 25/5/2015 till 15/6/2015.

So, when I come back in Thailand, I have not the new visa in my passport and my old visa is (15/6) 2 days expired.

What is the solution?

If you have an extension of stay based upon marriage (it is not a visa) or one based upon being the parent of a Thai you could try to apply for a 60 day extension to visit them. And get a re-entry permit for the 60 day extension.. Then apply for the one year extension before it ends.

If not you would have to start all over again by getting a non-o visa before returning.
