Sukhothai

Featured Replies

Hi all

Unexpected got a day off so I'm planning to go to Sukhothai for a couple of days from Bangkok on Sunday/early Monday latest.

Problem is I don't finish work till 2, and no chance of getting to Mo Chit before 4pm. Will it be worth leaving for Sukhothai and arriving this late or is an overnight bus going to be ok or will I better to leave at the crack of dawn on Monday and get there mid-afternoon Monday?

I have all of Mon/Tues/Wed and can early as late as last thing on Wednesday so I have time, I've heard anywhere from a day to three is good for Sukhothai but I want to maximise my time and relax.

Second thing is, will I have an issues getting anywhere to stay at this short notice? I'm whacked a couple of emails off to guesthouses asking if there are any rooms, but hoping I've not left it too late.

Tom

There should be no problem finding accommodation.

When you leave to head up there is really up to you. Personally I would go in the afternoon so I could start exploring early
