Plastic Surgery Recommendations

Featured Replies

Does anyone in this forum have reccomendations on reputable plastic surgeoens in Chiang mai? I'm particularly interested in cosmetic surgery of the face. Also, is it customary to pay a plastic surgery consultaiton fee in Thailand? I was under the impression that plastic surgery conusltations were free, but I was asked to pay at Chiang Mai Ram hospital. Any experience or feedback would be greatly appricated.

Of course consultations aren't free.

You don't expect them to do a consultation and maybe never see you again, surely?

There's Dr. Somboon on the pinned list a professor at CMU, has a good reputation.

If you are a woman maybe you'd prefer to see Dr. Puttan at RAM

Dr. Witoon has an excellent reputation, but you need to make a special appointment to see him as mostly he's in Phuket.

I strongly second a recommendation for Dr Sombon. I had not entirely elective cosmetic surgery by him a few months ago - truly amazing result! Everything went exactly as promised. 'Couldn't be more delighted.

You can find him at Rajavej Hospital only between 7 - 7:30 in the mornings. (Go to Emergency - not the main desk.) He has a clinic on the SW side of the moat inside the Old City but difficult to explain exactly where.

PM me if you'd like more details. Good luck!

If you choose to undergo a cosmetic surgical procedure such as breast augmentation, a face lift, or liposuction, why choose plastic surgery travel to another country rather than having the procedure performed at the major medical center in your city? Check this page I've found, list of plastic surgery center in Thailand. http://www.placidway.com/search/Thailand,Cosmetic/Plastic-Surgery,/search.html

That's just a list for an agency and there's absolutely no need to go through an agency, sending details and waiting for their reply and pricing which would include plenty of add on expense whether they say or not. They are just banking on a person not knowing how easy it is to get an appointment with any doctor over here once you decide who you want to see

Pick a hospital or doctor after doing a lot of research go and see him personally for a consultation.

When parts of your body are being cut don't deal with a 3rd party......ever!!!

Thailand has lots of plastic surgery nightmare stories and lots of good ones, do your homework
