Agree with most of that but I don't know in these cases what is a fair sentence and what isn't. especially as we don't know all the details. The girl says her education and confidence has suffered and she has been subjected to bullying, that's pretty much a life sentence for her. As a parent to a 7 year old daughter, I just hope and pray (like all parents) that kind of situation doesn,t arise when she gets older.

Alas the poor girl may have to relive her horrific experience at least once more in court since that plonker has brazenly and audaciously decided to lodge an appeal against his conviction. He really does come across as a sociopath doesn't he?

So are some crimes so heinous that the normal operations of British justice (right of appeal is enshrined) should be suspended? Tough on the victims yes, but lets not bring on vigilante-style justice.
