Does anyone know if it is possible for me to get divorced in Thailand if we have already started the divorce process in the UK.

My ex wife has just told me she is going to Thailand for a holiday in the summer and asked me if we could now get divorced in Thailand (despite me already paying the court fees to file the divorce).

you can't have two divorce proceedings,where the divorce was first filed is the valid court although it should be possible to cancell the divorce proceedings in the UK court first and then apply for a divorce in Thailand which is probably better financially for you as a man.

All I can say bout that is don't get married to a thai or any woman

you can divorce in Thailand both go to the Amphur and tell them you both want a divorce both agree and its done
