Can I extend one month visa in siem reap without living the country?

Featured Replies

Iam now in seam reap visa on month, is in Siam reap a imigration office where I can extend without leaving or is this not possible?

I know that you can extend for just one more month.

This link is almost suggesting that you could do an e-visa?? I am not too sure about that but I suppose you are already there and exit through any border point is allowed. I don't know how that would work with the online application.

Failing that are agents near the centre of town and also in several hotels. Suggest a PM to TV members The Siem Reaper or Phuket Richard.. Also found this:-

Visa extension:

The tourist (T) and business (E) visas can be extended at the Immigration Department, National Police. The Diplomatic (A), Official (B) and Courtesy © visas can be extended at the Consular Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A tourist visa can be extended only once for up to one month (single entry).

A business visa can be extended for:

  • One month (Single entry)
  • Three months (Single entry)
  • Six months (Multiple entry)

Tourist visa can be extended for 1 month only

ask in at any travel agent, check 2-3 for the best price

Business visa/ordinary visa can be extended 1, 3 months (not valid for re entry)

6,12 months Multiple entry

You need to go to a travel agent to extend your visa. It will save you neither time nor money to do so at immigration. If you're only going to stay for a short period - consider over-staying your visa and pay a $5 a day fine at the border... that stops being financially ideal after about 9 days...
