(Actually, the older gentleman has been fairly helpful, and always polite for me). Immigration Volunteer seems to be a thankless job. It appears that they have zero authority, must cater to the whim of the immigration officers, and are absolutely not permitted to apply common sense. I don't know how anyone could do that job day in and day out. Another example: On another visit, there was a minor issue with the forms I downloaded, completed and brought with me. Volunteer told me "You did everything 100% correctly - but it's wrong". Meaning, sorry but these officers don't follow the official rules and procedures. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
