I-Mobile Hitz12 language dilema.

Featured Replies

Hi, is there anyone on the board who can tell me how to permanently change the language on an I-mobile Hitz12 phone?

I have visiting customers next week so bought 3 of these phones a couple of weeks ago, the idea being that the customers have a cheaper connection with each other, myself and my office than using their own phones on roaming.

Anyway, I set the phones up, set the language to English and no problems (so far) but when I turn the phone off and then back on the language jumps to Thai.

At first I thought that it was something to do with the sim cards but I tried my own sim card, which I have used for around 14 years without a problem but the same thing still happens.

I called to the I-Mobile call center and the best advice that they could give me was to change the language to English and then never turn the phone off again (really).

So any ideas?

This is the way it is - Just get used to the location of the three clicks you need to do it (settings, Language&input, Language). I can almost do blind folded now. I think it is burned into the OS so a restart will go back to Thai every time. Outside of that my phone has been more then I though it would be for the low price. Added the 32gig SD and run dual sim. iMobile 8.3DTV
