Does anyone know of a machine shop where they can do a small job? Specifically, I need a part milled down slightly. I don't need CNC, just a old fashion milling machine and someone who knows how to use it.

Kwan Charoen is a small shop that has done good work for me in the past, reasonably priced. It's on the south side of the street, next to a pharmacy.
