A Newspaper in English language which is NOT Phnom Penh Post relates that a FINNISH, a BRITISH and a CANADIAN nationals had been attacked. The Cambodian perpetratrors had been arrested. More details to come.

Hello, do you think that Cambodia is not as safe as Thailand ?

And anybody knows if Koh rong island is as nice as some of the best Thai islands ?

Please help me to choose where to go.

Mate Koh rong is really nice , Cambodia is relatively safe , I have been in Cambodia the last 3 months no problems. be polite and avoid unlit areas

Yes, Koh Rong is lovely. And this event is unusual for there. There has been an increase in crime targeting foreigners in Sihanoukville though.

Sorry, It seems that there is no 24hours electricty at Koh rong ? Do you know any similar island with better amenities ?

For that better Thailand. The islands off Cambodia are lovely if you want pretty unspoiled beach but for development/amenities, not the place.
