I have just relocated to +/- 13km from Sikhio......in the near future I will need to get to Swampy airport does anybody know of a taxi or Uber like service I can use????

In the past when I was still working and was often doing trips to BKK and needed a taxi, I found that there are always taxi drivers working in Bangkok that will hail from your local village. It's always a one way trip, so for a local lad, it's often a good way to combine a trip to see the family with a money generating taxi fare.

Get your wife/gf to ask around see if there are any locals working taxi in Bangkok. On a side note, it's often safer to use someone known in local village, minimizes the risks of rip offs

Another way to do it is to arrange in Khorat city to rent a car for a day with a driver who will pick you up that day in Sikhio, take you to BKK and then return empty. You pay for the car, a tank of gas,and any tolls plus maybe a tip for the driver.
