I am a university student, doing a Maths course that It involves a lot of algebra.

I need a tutor to help me get through the homework assignments, whom I can pay by the hour.

If you are NOT a tutor, but just happen to be really good at Math, I will consider, but I prefer someone who does this on a regular basis.

While you're waiting for a tutor to come to your rescue, you might investigate the many (more than 2,400 videos) put together for your use by Kahn Academy. There have been some changes to their website, but you used to be able to see a menu with every different function and application of mathematics, and then choose the specific one that you need help with. Perhaps this kind of menu still exists, but I haven't checked thoroughly enough.

Nonetheless, Kahn Academy is excellent at explaining everything in math, as well as in other subjects. And it's free.

Yes indeed Khan Academy is the BOMB.

The only thing, is that if you don't know precisely what you are looking for, it can be a "needle in a haystack" affair.
