BREAKING NEWS Israel says it has launched strikes on Iran's 'nuclear programme
There was a lead up of many years. Iran has been implicated in much of the regional conflict. It propped up the murderous regime of Assad, creating 14 millions of refugees, many of whom poured into the west. It has tried to overthrow the government of Bahrain, funded subversives in Saudi Arabia, funded the Yemen civil war and Houthi, financed and supported Hezbollah, the Shiite terrorist group who have formed a state of their own within Lebanon, attempted to split and disrupt Iraq through its backing of Shiite militias, funded and armed Hamas, and is sworn to the complete destruction of Israel and Jews. It is also sworn to the destruction of the USA and UK. This makes it a hostile state and a state with a violent and evil intent. The intervention has not come as a sudden event. The initial JCPAO intent was to limit the Iranian nuclear program in return for sanctions relief and other trade and financial provisions. It was supposed to be a waypoint to Iran's agreement to not pursue nuclear weapons. It was obvious that Iran would not respect the intent and the Iranian leadership said so itself. There comes a time when a tough decision has to be made. The fact is that the EU, Russia and China were not able to influence Iran. Iran continued to support and to plan violence. Why should Israel be expected to allow Iran to obtain its desired nuclear war heads and wait to be incinerated? Why should the Gulf Arab nations of UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia be subject to bullying and threats to overthrow their governments or even be at risk of the the Shiities dropping a nuke on the Sunnis? Why should the USA and UK who have been threatened multiple times have to wait until Iran has a live nuclear weapon to threaten them with? Well, there comes a time when the violent sociopath who terrorizes and threatens the neighborhood has to be dealt with. That time is now. The Gulf Arab states, USA, and UK are letting Israel do the dirty work, all the while giving a public display of "concern". As long as China can access the cheap oil ad gas, it won't really care. And if Russia is assured that there won't be another hostile nation in proximity, it may just sit on the sidelines. The west has learnt from past mistakes, and Syria proves that. Despite the loss of an ally in Assad, Russia still has its naval base and center of operations in Syria. The hatred for the USA, UK and Israel motivates many people to rally in support of Iran. Take a hint from Shiite Pakistan, which has been surprisingly quiet on the issue. There is a reason for that. Not many in the Sunni Arab world are rallying to help Iran. Why do you think that is? -

Columbia protester Mahmoud Khalil freed from ICE detention by federal judge
Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil is released after spending over three months at a Louisiana detention center June 21, 2025 ... "Wearing a keffiyeh – a scarf seen as a symbol of Palestinian identity and resistance – a grinning Khalil pumped his fists as he walked out of the detention center Friday evening with one of his attorneys. ... The judge also cited several “extraordinary circumstances” in Khalil’s case that led him to order his release, including “that there is a due process violative effort to punish” the Columbia University graduate who played a central role in negotiations on behalf of pro-Palestinian student protesters last year. ... Khalil, a lawful permanent resident who is married to a US citizen and has not been charged with a crime, was one of the first arrestees in the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown targeting student activism."
