Your experience with "new" members critisizing you with little or previous postings might occur more frequently if the Junta decides to go full tilt with Article 44.

If the Junta feels forums like TV where there is still persistent criticism of the Junta, government and Thai life under Junta rule, even under current forum ground rules, the Junta may embark on a propoganda effort through "new members" to discredit OP's. Can you imagine what the TV forum will look like if it suddenly gains 10,000 "new" members who consistently express support for the Junta and verbally attack OPs who raise the slightest conflict with Junta's behavior and actions?

To be fair, all that analysis of the statistics kind of makes it sound like you're the one taking the forum a little too seriously.

There are always idiots that take it one step to far. There will always be those that dislike you. But when they go to the trouble of signing up under an alias and stalking you.. that is a real low..

I did this out of a desire to be as fair and objective as possible, and because I wanted to get my facts straight before I opened my mouth. Suffice it to say I found plenty of reason to conclude that this moniker was fully justified in your case.

To the best of my knowledge visiting someone's profile isn't against forum rules. It is certainly not included in TVF's definition or any other definition of cyber stalking that I am aware of. So I find your attempt to portray yourself as being stalked, especially when it involves me, to be rather melodramatic and a tad bit conceited on your part. As if you were Madonna, or Justin Beiber, or a celebrity or something. I think it's called being a drama queen.

Any other visits to your profile page by me were absolutely inadvertent. As several other posters have already pointed out it is very easy to accidently click on a poster's name because the forum pages abruptly jump when the advertisements pop open. I would estimate that upwards of 30% of my visits to another poster's default profile page were accidental for this very reason. I think it odd that you failed to consider this as a likely explanation. Aside from this business about a poster's "star count" (which I believe to be a largely meaningless rating criteria to 99.999% of forum members), for the life of me, I still don't understand how a visit to a profile page alone can be used to harass, let alone "stalk" another poster.

As for these newly minted mystery visitors who are supposedly haunting your profile page, I haven't a clue as to why this is happening to you, except to suggest that perhaps you underestimate how controversial some of your comments are, and that you consider the possibility that your posts may be attracting more negative attention than you realize. You are, after all, someone who clearly has an axe to grind about Thailand despite no longer even living here, and who chronically posts gratuitously negative and maliciously dispiriting comments on a forum dedicated to the expat community of Thailand and its neighboring countries. Do you really have trouble understanding why this activity might not be welcome and appreciated?

At any rate and for the record, if it helps you sleep better at night, I have had one -- and only one -- avatar and membership account on TVF for the entire 7 months I have been a member. I have never had and never plan to open multiple accounts for any purpose whatsoever. I have never discussed you with other forum members by PM. I do not know anyone who has multiple aliases on TVF, and I do not know anyone who is harassing or stalking you. I give my permission to any moderator who wishes to research if any of these claims are false. I'd say it's time to dispense with the 'who shot JFK' conspiracy theories, and consider the possibility that many people quite independently of one another have found many of your views biased and distasteful.

If any future suspicions arise about whether you are being stalked please direct them elsewhere. While I quite frankly don't care about your paranoid suspicions, I don't appreciate having my reputation besmirched, or being forced to defend myself against baseless accusations based on nothing more than wild speculation.
