Can't find anything via google searching on DMAX or Colorado. Just want to get this radio out - assume it is separate to the clock and fan control sections ?

Does anyone know or have links (Thai website ?) showing where to place/lever dash removal tools to get this radio out ?

Thanks.post-58257-0-41238300-1428653625_thumb.j

The two narrow panels surrounding the radio will probably pop out to give access to mounting screws etc. Use something like a broad flat knife to lever them a little bit and see where they have the mounting tabs. Once you have those out you'll see what to do next.

There may be a few hidden locking screws that need to be sussed out - try looking in the ash tray or under the dash to see if there is anything preventing those narrow panels from coming out. Or sometimes entire switching units are snapped into place - maybe the aircon controls are simply snapped in and can be prised out to give you access/vision to the radio above and how it's fitted.

Before you go pulling the radio, disconnect the battery just in case you short something out.

The dashboards of modern cars are basically put together with tabs - once you get the first piece out, the rest is easy. I once tore down the entire dash of a Holden Commodore for the same reason and it was amazing how it all just knitted itself together. Almost like a kitset model plane.
