Thais recognize Red Cars are for Shirt Lifters, so dont drop your Keys.cheesy.gif

I have never heard that before so I asked about 5 or 6 Thai guys and gals. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy.

What is your source on this?

I had to google it. Dumb colonial I guess.

I guess you have to be in that community to get it. No Thai, even my gay male friend had a clue what you are talking about.

Has anyone else ever heard this? If so are you gay?

Cut it out you guys or else an immoderate mod may punt this potentially (another) great Ranger thread into a totally inappropriate 'alternate lifestyle' forum.

Thai's are culturally indisposed to bold colours and tend to go with white, black and any shade of metallic gold and silver, hence the rather bland views when on the nations highways and byways.

I originally wanted a True Red 2.2 when shopping for the first Ranger but they were even scarcer than 3.2's! After passing on a couple of bland buggers, I grabbed (the now discontinued) Gunmetal Blue being offered at 5 PM on a Friday when some other poor sot failed the financing. It actually grew on me and was one of the reasons I got a slightly better resale price when I traded up as the buyer said they were scarcer than hens teeth as well.
