BMA is actually pretty good at this sort of thing (clean up) - not a big deal in and of itself - but is systematic of a larger problem. Lack of awareness of trashs' impact in the environment and lack of TRASH CANS provided by the city...

Any follow up pictures from the morning after ? I hate the phrase 'it happens the world over' But I have been to many parties whereby the mess is far worse than these picture show, and the day after its all gone.

Pissed up people aint going to walk around with trash for hours on end just so they can put it in bins that don't exist.

oh no i wouldn't stay at that location into the morning would i?

Dozens (if not hundreds) of Thai kids were able to eat the next day because their parents were paid to clean up the mess. Dozens more ate because their parents traded in the recyclables for cash.

I'm always astounded at how quickly the garbage disappears after such an event, and how little actually goes to waste after the scrap dealers are finished.
