I start every thread with the intention of not getting a negative reaction from the TV BIB

TV Old Boys Club. If you had been warned suspended as often as I have, you would understand that discretion bluster is the better part of valor TV purgatory, or something like that..

I wonder where the expression came from,i have a theory that it comes from fishing,rather than the mythical troll creature,ie; when you troll a line from a moving boat[so you let the baited hook move through the water at the same speed as the boat],hoping to get a bite
